After 19 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Anak Agung Agafonnikov. 20 minutes in the game Anak Agung Agafonnikov did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gregorio Elixio. If Karl-Oskar Apelkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Apelkvist in the 23rd minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Tomás Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candelaria FC's Tomás Bonifaco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Candelaria FC from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oğuz Çetin came free, but Tomás Bonifaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Alzamendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Altay Bayındır tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oğuz Çetin in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Bonifaco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomás Bonifaco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oğuz Çetin in the 94th minute. The Candelaria FC fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Candelaria FC's Okanalp Özdil looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Candelaria FC had won after a very even match.
