Sociedad Anónima's Antonio Sorriva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Sociedad Anónima from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, Sociedad Anónima's Velasco Rollan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Venancio Cesario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Mateo Messi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yofré AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Sociedad Anónima's attentive Dawid Klocko managed to snatch the ball when Carlos Dolfo made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Yofré AFC's Antonio Sorriva threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ernesto Poncio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by Carlos Dolfo with Esteban Ostargi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Antonio Sorriva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Lizardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Poncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Antonio Sorriva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Sorriva made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Ernesto Poncio sent off a good shot on target. Ernesto Poncio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Antonio Sorriva made a huge save. In the 38th match minute, Sociedad Anónima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Cubillo to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Oihenarte took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Antonio Sorriva. Sociedad Anónima's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Velasco Rollan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Venancio Cesario. Yofré AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Velasco Rollan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Antonio Sorriva was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Mateo Messi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mateo Messi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Ernesto Poncio made the kick off in the second half. Antonio Sorriva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Lizardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Velasco Rollan in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venancio Cesario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner ended in Niva Bruna almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Yofré AFC's Venancio Cesario did a great save. All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Sociedad Anónima's Felix Larren that got to make the kick off. In the 104th minute Matias Preto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Sorriva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yofré AFC's Venancio Cesario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Larren in the 106th minute of play. 107 minutes into the match, Yofré AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Velasco Rollan came free, but Venancio Cesario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 109th minute, Baldomiro Cubillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Primitivo Oihenarte from long distance, 109 minutes into the match, got Antonio Sorriva's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 111th minute of the match Yofré AFC got a corner. Sociedad Anónima's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Primitivo Oihenarte ran over to the corner to take the kick. Yofré AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
