The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehat Kovaçi got free with Arturo Borubar in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 14 minutes of play, Cougars FC's Mehat Kovaçi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arturo Borubar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnoud de Pelsmakere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Browall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Browall in the 20th minute of the match. Angel Morales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Browall in the 38th minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ECS FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Mehat Kovaçi scored to the left of an out of position Arturo Borubar, making the score, 5-0. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quin Camaño in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Cougars FC were awarded a corner. Angel Morales went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Angel Morales almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ECS FK's Arturo Borubar did a great save. Arturo Borubar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quin Camaño was the one to do the kick off. Mehat Kovaçi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A well-hit corner resulted in Bianco Natale heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 72nd minute, Carlinhos Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cougars FC's Steffen Gimlinge was substituted for Mehat Kovaçi. After a rather tough play, ECS FK's Carlinhos Trancoso got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, ECS FK's goal looked a bit too open when Steffen Gimlinge came free, but Arturo Borubar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, ECS FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Browall to maneuver through the defense. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 88th minute, Angel Morales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davis Damasceno in the 89th minute. Steffen Gimlinge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Borubar having to make a save. In the 94th minute, Leonel Solo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere got control of the ball when Davis Damasceno tried to sneak it across the goal line.
