FC Wingspan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zigmantas Gimbutas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Amado Parente made in the 9th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Wingspan's Ulf Lenberg. In the 10thth minute of the game Zigmantas Gimbutas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wingspan's Kristian Modig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kristian Modig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 12th minute of the match. Kristian Modig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Zigmantas Gimbutas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristian Modig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Wingspan defense, Zigmantas Gimbutas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristian Modig. The FC Wingspan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristian Modig should have stopped the shot. SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Nilsson in the 22nd minute of play. André Jordão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Kristian Modig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zigmantas Gimbutas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Allan Pettersson might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laçın Cumayev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Allan Pettersson ran back to his position shaking his head. Kristian Modig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, FC Wingspan's goal looked a bit too open when Zigmantas Gimbutas came free, but Kristian Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zigmantas Gimbutas struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Kristian Modig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Braga. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Allan Pettersson was the one to do the kick off. Zigmantas Gimbutas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristian Modig having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 59th minute of play forced FC Wingspan's goalkeeper Kristian Modig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Braga made a substitution. Antonio Cieri replaced Benjamin de Lara. SC Braga made a substitution. Geraldo Lucas replaced André Jordão. A sloppy throw-in by Amado Parente in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Wingspan's Cristian-Federico Overman. Laçın Cumayev came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Wingspan's Allan Pettersson. But to his dismay, Allan Pettersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. FC Wingspan's Kristian Modig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 77th minute of play. Kristian Modig was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stig-Åke Mattsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 92 minute of play. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Wingspan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jon-Egil Sætre was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Braga's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on SC Braga's corner Jon-Egil Sætre fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kristian Modig quite easily take care of the ball.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Braga walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
