The Beech United fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Beech United's Fabrício Cordeiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. San Mauro A Mare FC's Fabinho Bastos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Birant Ferhat in the 22 minute of the game. The throw-in from Isaac Evangelista in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by San Mauro A Mare FC's Marcus Hastings. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Beech United's goalkeeper Emanuele Zoff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Levent Hicran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Mauro A Mare FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Samir Afacan was a little too slow when Dumitru Ghițulescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-3. Samir Afacan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Ghițulescu in the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beech United's goalkeeper Emanuele Zoff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rudolf Arak hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Fabrício Cordeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samir Afacan was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

After 55 minutes, Augusto Graziani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Mauro A Mare FC and the Beech United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Beech United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-5. 84 minutes into the match, Augusto Graziani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuele Zoff. Beech United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Graziani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-6. San Mauro A Mare FC's Samir Afacan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Ghițulescu in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Orsi in the 104th minute of play forced Beech United's goalkeeper Emanuele Zoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 107 minutes into the match, Augusto Graziani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuele Zoff. Beech United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Graziani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-7. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. San Mauro A Mare FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
