David Lundgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Redbull Sala's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Martin-Daniel Palermo scored to the left of an out of position David Lundgren, making the score, 1-0. David Lundgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarmo Helm, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Uriel Lano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ejvind Haversen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Redbull Sala were furious when Pär Klack was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 44 minutes into the game, one of Redbull Sala:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Bonifacio Bartoli got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of David Lundgren. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin-Daniel Palermo to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Alberto Bezerra got free with Uriel Lano in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Lundgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin-Daniel Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin-Daniel Palermo might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Lundgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin-Daniel Palermo ran back to his position shaking his head. 61 minutes into the match, Redbull Sala's goal looked a bit too open when Martin-Daniel Palermo came free, but David Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Alberto Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Uriel Lano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redbull Sala. 73 minutes into the game, Martin-Daniel Palermo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. David Lundgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin-Daniel Palermo in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Lundgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Flavio Escobar to fire away a dangerous shot which David Lundgren despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 79 played minutes Redbull Sala got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Garcia. In the 83rd match minute, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Macias to maneuver through the defense. David Lundgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin-Daniel Palermo in the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 booed when Redbull Sala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the referee ended the match the CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
