The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dolar Blue Ψ's David Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Corrêa in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute Severo Rolado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Zebus FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Kamber Aktaş hit a great ball. Aloísio Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Rolado in the 14th minute of play. Aloísio Sergipano came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Dolar Blue Ψ's Severo Rolado. But to his dismay, Severo Rolado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Severo Rolado notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Zebus FC's Aloísio Sergipano. Aloísio Sergipano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Dolar Blue Ψ's David Abad got control of the ball when Kamber Aktaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Silvinho Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Zebus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. David Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Aloísio Sergipano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severo Rolado in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Severo Rolado made a precise shot to the right of Aloísio Sergipano. Zebus FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Severo Rolado struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Aloísio Sergipano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dolar Blue Ψ. 65 minutes into the match, Dolar Blue Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Kamber Aktaş came free, but David Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Moura hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Remigio Vigil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Aloísio Sergipano made a huge save. Zebus FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Remigio Vigil 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5.

Dolar Blue Ψ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
