Sten Andrejević might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Boone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sten Andrejević ran back to his position shaking his head. Fumo Pocock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurice Odonnell in the 85th minute of play. With his leg Gilberto Boone managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Oshyros ll's François Marotte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 91st minute of the match Rhett Latourelle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilberto Boone skillfully saved the ball. Fumo Pocock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurice Odonnell, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After 94 played minutes Oshyros ll got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Gitano.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Maurice Odonnell made the kick off and play began. An unexpectedly hard shot by Titus Pineda in the 105th minute of play forced Oshyros ll's goalkeeper Fumo Pocock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Titus Pineda hit a great freekick 109 minutes into the match. Seth Luke took the ball and in the 111 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fumo Pocock. Fumo Pocock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Varennes walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
