Spectators: 469 (Terracing: 352, Seating: 108, VIP seats: 9) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jörn Erserman started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amado Janpier in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Åke Lidström saved Blomstermåla BK from getting behind. Karl-Åke Lidström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mai Jian Sen, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Karl-Åke Lidström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amado Janpier's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Blomstermåla BK's Karl-Åke Lidström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Janpier in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute Mai Jian Sen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Lidström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pär Skoglund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roch Puch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Karl-Åke Lidström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amado Janpier's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 30th minute Amado Janpier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Lidström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roch Puch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Erserman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avram Ştef kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Blomstermåla BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mai Jian Sen came free, but Karl-Åke Lidström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Åke Lidström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mai Jian Sen in the 36th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Blomstermåla BK defense, Amado Janpier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Åke Lidström. The Blomstermåla BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Åke Lidström should have stopped the shot. Roch Puch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Ongile in the 41st minute. A collision led to AS Monaco FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Zbyszko Mierzwa hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Amado Janpier made the kick off in the second half. Jörn Erserman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Roch Puch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Erserman in the 57th minute of play forced AS Monaco FC's goalkeeper Roch Puch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Janpier struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Karl-Åke Lidström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AS Monaco FC. When Amado Janpier came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the AS Monaco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Janpier couldn't finish the play. AS Monaco FC made a substitution. Witalis Gecionis replaced Mai Jian Sen. AS Monaco FC made a substitution. Czeslaw Kornatowski replaced Slawomir Snow. AS Monaco FC's Franciszek Zukowski was substituted for Amado Janpier. After a rather tough play, AS Monaco FC's Witalis Gecionis got a free kick in the 68th minute. Roch Puch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Ongile, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Franciszek Zukowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd minute, Marek Panasewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roch Puch was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Blomstermåla BK's Jörn Erserman got a free kick in the 75th minute. Roch Puch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pär Skoglund in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Blomstermåla BK's zone, Avram Ştef stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Åke Lidström came out of the goal and Avram Ştef tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blomstermåla BK's Karl-Åke Lidström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Mierzwa in the 86th minute of play. Czeslaw Kornatowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Karl-Åke Lidström made a huge save. Franciszek Zukowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Erserman in the 99th minute of play forced AS Monaco FC's goalkeeper Roch Puch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roch Puch was out of position in the 100 minute of play, and Gilbert Rasimowicz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilbert Rasimowicz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. AS Monaco FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
