The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Chaco For Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Vigil came free, but Manotham Grandessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manotham Grandessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Jarmulowicz in the 8th minute of the match. Igor Jarmulowicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manotham Grandessa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Jarmulowicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Manotham Grandessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Jarmulowicz in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute André Luís Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Galus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, El Stradivarius's goalkeeper Jedrzej Galus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Paulo Teles. After some careless play in the Chaco For Ever defense, Igor Jarmulowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manotham Grandessa. The Chaco For Ever fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manotham Grandessa should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute Igor Jarmulowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manotham Grandessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manotham Grandessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Jarmulowicz in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match El Stradivarius got a corner. Chaco For Ever's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gabriel Pello ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bernardino Vigil hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Jedrzej Galus made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Luís Zanette in the 38th minute. Igor Jarmulowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manotham Grandessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Jarmulowicz in the 44th minute of the match. After 46 minutes Chaco For Ever's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabriel Pello who took care of the corner kick. Angelo Goren was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Luís Zanette stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emil Văcărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Galus having to interfere. El Stradivarius's Jedrzej Galus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Zanette in the 57th minute of play. The Chaco For Ever fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Chaco For Ever's Luiz Paulo Teles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Chaco For Ever's Manotham Grandessa got control of the ball when Igor Jarmulowicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chaco For Ever's Manotham Grandessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Jarmulowicz in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo Teles in the 82nd minute of play forced El Stradivarius's goalkeeper Jedrzej Galus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Chaco For Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Jarmulowicz came free, but Manotham Grandessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chaco For Ever's Raul Eufrasio was substituted for Even Flores. El Stradivarius made a substitution. Emilio Rami replaced Igor Jarmulowicz. If Emilio Rami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The Chaco For Ever manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing El Stradivarius to win.
