The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Richie Cagigal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheikha Fellahi in the 2nd minute of play. Rosendo Seguinus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucho Aguiar's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Rosendo Seguinus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucho Aguiar went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Rosendo Seguinus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucho Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 12th minute, Lucho Aguiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rosendo Seguinus was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hocine Bentaala in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richie Cagigal saved Real de Carmelo 2021 FC from getting behind. Lucho Aguiar might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosendo Seguinus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucho Aguiar ran back to his position shaking his head. After 20 minutes, Hocine Bentaala made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Richie Cagigal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Qatar Dust Kickers's Rosendo Seguinus got control of the ball when Rioja Soberon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Richie Cagigal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilles Tahar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Lucho Aguiar in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 27th minute Lucho Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Qatar Dust Kickers's zone, Lucho Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Seguinus came out of the goal and Lucho Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Hocine Bentaala made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Richie Cagigal got control of the ball when Hocine Bentaala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Qatar Dust Kickers's Cheikha Fellahi got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosendo Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucho Aguiar in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Gabriel Heinze got a free kick in the 68th minute. Qatar Dust Kickers made a substitution. Soltani Drid replaced Hocine Bentaala. The supporters of Qatar Dust Kickers booed when Real de Carmelo 2021 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Heinze didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Lucho Aguiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rosendo Seguinus was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, Qatar Dust Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Rioja Soberon came free, but Rosendo Seguinus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richie Cagigal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soltani Drid in the 77th minute of play. Lucho Aguiar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosendo Seguinus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Lucho Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Mohammed Matoub fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Richie Cagigal made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Gilles Tahar sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, Qatar Dust Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Dacio Carcamo came free, but Rosendo Seguinus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Larry Estoyanoff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rosendo Seguinus having to make a save. Rosendo Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larry Estoyanoff in the 92nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Danel Belluga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Danel Belluga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Seguinus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The Qatar Dust Kickers players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
