Descamisados CF's Lawrence Lawless played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardinho Leão in the 12th minute of play. But to his dismay, Jairo Baraquiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 37 minutes into the match, Descamisados CF's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Travassos came free, but Lawrence Lawless reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Eduardo Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Baraquiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Eduardo Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Baraquiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Luís Eduardo Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Thomas in the 44th minute of the match. Jairo Baraquiel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Eduardo Mazza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After 49 minutes Belo Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabian Plaski who took care of the corner kick. Fabian Plaski made a great header on Descamisados CF's corner, it was just that Belo Academy's Luís Eduardo Mazza managed to reach the ball for a save. The Belo Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Descamisados CF were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manfredo Travassos made a kick off. Jairo Baraquiel scored 0-3 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Eduardo Mazza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lawrence Lawless didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardinho Leão went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Lawrence Lawless showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Belo Academy's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Baraquiel. A sloppy throw-in by Ismael Martins in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Descamisados CF's Ricardo Bochini. Belo Academy's Luís Eduardo Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Belo Academy from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute Manfredo Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lawrence Lawless saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes of play, Belo Academy's Manfredo Travassos made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lawrence Lawless was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ludomir Kaider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Txartiko got a throw-in 87 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Arturo Salomone. If Isaltino Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Descamisados CF's Ricardo Bochini quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ferenc Szántó, made in the 90th minute of the game.

When the final whistle sounded Descamisados CF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Belo Academy.
