After 14 played minutes Yolo got a freekick which was hit by Maarten De Malier. Wawrzyniec Kissel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cristian Minteuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iordache Epure kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's goal looked a bit too open when Wawrzyniec Kissel came free, but Cristian Minteuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cristinel Iurea fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yolo's protests and gave Cristinel Iurea a yellow card for diving instead. Cristinel Iurea kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Yolo's Wieslaw Dec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Florescu in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maarten De Malier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Yolo defense, Edgar Florescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wieslaw Dec. The Yolo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wieslaw Dec should have stopped the shot. In the 53rd match minute, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstanty Joks to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 58 in the game by Wawrzyniec Kissel from a close distance when the talented Cristian Minteuan managed to make a qualified save. PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's players were relieved. For all the effort they put into the match, the Yolo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN.
