In the 42nd minute, Edvin Lindholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Linus Ahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Dias in the 44th minute of play. Silvinho Lago hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Göran Cane made a kick off. Linus Ahlquist made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Alexsandro Aguiar sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute Göran Cane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Göran Cane left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Svartvallstjärnens IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Murilo Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Cane in the 63rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Buritama Sports players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Svartvallstjärnens IF.
