Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils Hovermann was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Hans-Martin Istad tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rune Jarstein saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans-Martin Istad in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rune Jarstein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enrique Bologna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gigel Elenescu's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 96th minute of the match Hertha 1969 got a corner. Masters United F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Moritz Hasenjäger ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Zé Paulo da Silva managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
