The supporters of Calaflores FC. booed when Saint Glenn Gothenburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Marcos Zapater sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lennart Juhlin skillfully saved the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Marcos Zapater led 5 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Lennart Juhlin became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. In the 9th minute of the match, Ludwig Hägg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Víctor Valdés saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 10 minutes into the game, Ludwig Hägg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Víctor Valdés was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coronel Paredes in the 17th minute of play forced Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goalkeeper Lennart Juhlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes of play, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Ludwig Hägg made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lennart Juhlin came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Calaflores FC.'s Barros Cifuentes. But to his dismay, Barros Cifuentes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 58 minutes of play, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Ludwig Hägg made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Víctor Valdés showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Hägg in the 95th minute of the match.

When the referee blew the final whistle, Saint Glenn Gothenburg could leave the field as winners, despite Calaflores FC. having more of the ball for most of the match.
