Flying Hellfish's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Remigio Finlay scored to the left of an out of position Kazimierz Wielkopolski, making the score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Karl Howarth notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AA GUARULHOS's Carlinhos Freitas. Carlinhos Freitas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Augusto Viana made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Flying Hellfish's Nevada Soto. Karl Howarth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlinhos Freitas having to make a save. Carlinhos Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Howarth in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl Howarth in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlinhos Freitas saved AA GUARULHOS from getting behind. Karl Howarth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlinhos Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Miels in the 21st minute of the match. Flying Hellfish's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Everitt Obree in the 23rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Karl-Oskar Lund managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind AA GUARULHOS's goalkeeper Carlinhos Freitas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flying Hellfish's Kazimierz Wielkopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Finlay in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Finlay in the 31st minute of play forced Flying Hellfish's goalkeeper Kazimierz Wielkopolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Miels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flying Hellfish made a substitution. Daniel Afloroaiei replaced Karl Howarth. In the 35th minute, Daniel Afloroaiei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlinhos Freitas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 39th minute Daniel Afloroaiei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Remigio Finlay made a precise shot to the right of Kazimierz Wielkopolski. Flying Hellfish's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. A collision led to Flying Hellfish getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Karl-Oskar Lund hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remigio Finlay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Afloroaiei in the 54th minute of play forced AA GUARULHOS's goalkeeper Carlinhos Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Flying Hellfish were awarded a corner. Everitt Obree went to the cornerflag to take it. Amedeo Carlucci made a great header on Flying Hellfish's corner, it was just that AA GUARULHOS's Carlinhos Freitas managed to reach the ball for a save. Amedeo Carlucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Afloroaiei made a great header on Flying Hellfish's corner, it was just that AA GUARULHOS's Carlinhos Freitas managed to reach the ball for a save. 79 minutes into the match, Flying Hellfish's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Felip came free, but Kazimierz Wielkopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlinhos Freitas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Afloroaiei in the 91st minute. After 93 minutes, Erasmo Monteiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AA GUARULHOS and the Flying Hellfish players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AA GUARULHOS getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Flying Hellfish's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
