Yao Guang Chao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas De la Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. 3 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yaji FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Afşar Uçuk was slow to take the kick. During this time Blue Mountain State's players had a chance to rest. Yao Guang Chao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Panasewicz in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Yaji FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Orlando Lixandro hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Nicolas De la Cruz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Yao Guang Chao. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Isidoro Estebe advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute of the match, Arturo Ranolfo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robin Sharma saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Blue Mountain State's Robin Sharma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Blue Mountain State from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Yaji FC booed when Blue Mountain State was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas De la Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yao Guang Chao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karol Panasewicz's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karol Panasewicz in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yao Guang Chao saved Yaji FC from getting behind. Robin Sharma made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Man Chester sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute Arturo Ranolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Sharma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Blue Mountain State's Robin Sharma got control of the ball when Man Chester tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Yaji FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Blue Mountain State were winning 0-2.

Yao Guang Chao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Panasewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Karol Panasewicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yao Guang Chao. The goal made the score 0-3. When Yaji FC's Man Chester in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 82 played minutes, Yaji FC's Arturo Ranolfo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robin Sharma came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yaji FC reached it. In the 84th minute, Lionel-Andrés Messi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yao Guang Chao was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 91st minute, Orlando Lixandro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lionel-Andrés Messi scored 0-6 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yao Guang Chao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th match minute, Yaji FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Suarez to maneuver through the defense.

The Blue Mountain State players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
