In the 27th minute Hubert Wallmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Olsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Sandinense ADF's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Orbán came free, but Breno Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Viktor Orbán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Sandinense ADF's Robin Olsen threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hubert Wallmark, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sandinense ADF's Breno Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaloyan Dimovski in the 38th minute of play.

In the 52nd match minute, Djurgården Sthlm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Orbán to maneuver through the defense. Robin Olsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Wallmark in the 54th minute of the match. The shot was stopped by Breno Costa but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaloyan Dimovski got free with Breno Costa in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, Djurgården Sthlm's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Queirós came free, but Robin Olsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Djurgården Sthlm's Robin Olsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Queirós in the 80th minute of play. After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Burak Özdoğan made the kick off and play began. Thanks to some nice moves Burak Özdoğan could shoot a difficult shot in the 108th minute, which Robin Olsen however easily saved by the left post. Robin Olsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Wallmark in the 109th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sandinense ADF's zone, Kaloyan Dimovski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breno Costa came out of the goal and Kaloyan Dimovski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both sets of players were looking tired when the whistle went to end the half. Everyone was pleased to get a few minutes to rest before extra-time resumed.

Both teams seemed ready to fight when Djurgården Sthlm's Kaloyan Dimovski did the kick off and started the second half in the overtime. Joakim Häll's late challenge caught a Sandinense ADF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joakim Häll helped the player get up and apologised. Robin Olsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubert Wallmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 126th minute. Djurgården Sthlm's Robin Olsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Wallmark in the 129th minute of play. Kaloyan Dimovski was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 136th minute. Djurgården Sthlm's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 120 minutes played and the teams were still tied %results%. It was now down to the keepers and penalty takers to win this one for their team.

Robin Olsen had in the 140thth minute some difficulties stopping Joakim Häll's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Joakim Häll led 140 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Sandinense ADF's Breno Costa became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. Robin Olsen had in the 147thth minute some difficulties stopping Alexandre Amaral's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 150th minute there was a penalty for Sandinense ADF. Burak Özdoğan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Robin Olsen. 3-3. The Djurgården Sthlm supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Djurgården Sthlm would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
