But to his dismay, Nestor Lauaxeta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 24th minute Armando Natalucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ettore Placidi made a kick off. Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Placidi in the 53rd minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Claudio Caniglia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Dave Clemente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Glasgow Rangers FC's Christian Sammartino was substituted for Felice Perna. In the 96th match minute, Janusze Futbolu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogerio Oblak to maneuver through the defense.

Janusze Futbolu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
