Kurt Brogren ran back to his position shaking his head. With neither of the teams able to find a winning goal, the match would be decided by penalties!

When the match had been going on for 137 minutes, Mellbystrand IK's Konrad Nordin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cláudio-André Taffarel. Daniel Alrot had in the 141stth minute some difficulties stopping Fabian Sierocki's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 142nd minute there was a penalty for Mellbystrand IK. Joakim Mattsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cláudio-André Taffarel. 4-6. Mellbystrand IK:s Daniel Alrot showed great skill when he stopped Arno Jahe:s penalty. The audience cheered when Arno Jahe's long shot passed Daniel Alrot's right side. It was 5-6, 144 minutes into the match. Although TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA - had been in control for most of the match, Mellbystrand IK still came away with the win.
