Torjus Solvoll stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kang Fan Xiang's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Antoni Beninda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loui Dyndgaard's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Vila Zumbi's Antoni Beninda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loui Dyndgaard in the 29th minute of play. Guilherme Vianna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torjus Solvoll having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kang Fan Xiang in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torjus Solvoll saved Gettrup SIK from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Kang Fan Xiang made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenon Gall in the 56th minute of play forced Vila Zumbi's goalkeeper Antoni Beninda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Ferdi Kadıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Vila Zumbi's goal looked a bit too open when Keld Popp came free, but Antoni Beninda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Almir Salgado might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torjus Solvoll. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Almir Salgado ran back to his position shaking his head. Torjus Solvoll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Keld Popp took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Antoni Beninda to make any attempt to save it. Gettrup SIK's Sten Vonk was substituted for Zenon Gall. Antoni Beninda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Vonk in the 92nd minute of play.

The Gettrup SIK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gettrup SIK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
