But to his dismay, Jan Tõnuri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Matthew Benjamin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Moraes in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Tõnuri in the 47th minute of play forced FC Gustavo FPRMZ's goalkeeper Leonard Olejasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

51 minutes into the match, FC Gustavo FPRMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Kaleta came free, but Leonard Olejasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
