The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Torres got free with Leonardo Zanette in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Ripa FC's Donato Torres fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Aldo Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eskil Stenqvist in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match, Ricardo Bochini tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leonardo Zanette saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Bochini in the 16th minute of play forced Gafflarna IF's goalkeeper Leonardo Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eskil Stenqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Gafflarna IF's Leonardo Zanette proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Gafflarna IF from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dale Dolar in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aldo Mannie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Placido Pero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ripa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Pero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Zanette breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aldo Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Godholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Ricardo Bochini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Ripa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eskil Stenqvist came free, but Aldo Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gafflarna IF's Leonardo Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Torres in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Dale Dolar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Leonardo Zanette made a huge save. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Donato Torres sped through Gafflarna IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonardo Zanette. Leonardo Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gu Chang Peng in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Placido Pero had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Carmelo Firman fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gafflarna IF's protests and gave Carmelo Firman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ripa FC booed when Gafflarna IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Firman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th match minute, Gafflarna IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Firman to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dale Dolar to make the kick off. With his leg Aldo Mannie managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Gafflarna IF's 吴明霖 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aldo Mannie made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Dale Dolar sent off a good shot on target. Leonardo Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gu Chang Peng in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Gafflarna IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gu Chang Peng came free, but Leonardo Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Smith Wigglesworth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Leonardo Zanette was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felix Godholm received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aldo Mannie came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Godholm slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 70th minute. 吴明霖 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aldo Mannie having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gu Chang Peng in the 74th minute of play forced Gafflarna IF's goalkeeper Leonardo Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75thth minute of the game Eskil Stenqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gu Chang Peng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Zanette read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Felix Godholm in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aldo Mannie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
