Peder Forsberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Annedal FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Peder Forsberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s Gavino Afonso did a great save. In the 19th minute Luis Bladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Bladi in the 26th minute of the match. Hıdır Aygüneş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s zone, Luis Bladi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Afonso came out of the goal and Luis Bladi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gavino Afonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hıdır Aygüneş to strike the kick off in the second half. Gavino Afonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Felin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bladi came free, but Gavino Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Luis Bladi came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Annedal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Bladi couldn't finish the play. Annedal FC's Christer Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Armando Milito in the 92nd minute of play. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 0-0. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. Annedal FC's Luis Bladi started the play with his kick off. 99 minutes into the match, Luis Bladi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavino Afonso. Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Bladi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Annedal FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
