The supporters of Espigão Steamrollers booed when BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's Noam Chomsky got a free kick in the 11th minute. Zhuo Fei Kun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 周威翔 in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonçalo de Medeiros saved Espigão Steamrollers from getting behind. In the 15th minute of the match BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF got a corner. Espigão Steamrollers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 梅森平 ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that 梅森平 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gonçalo de Medeiros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Zhuo Fei Kun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roneixon Siqueira in the 19th minute of the match. After 22 minutes of play, Espigão Steamrollers's Roneixon Siqueira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zhuo Fei Kun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gonçalo de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 周威翔 in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th play minute 周威翔 came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gonçalo de Medeiros. 1-1. 29 minutes into the game, Espigão Steamrollers's Roneixon Siqueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zhuo Fei Kun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 34 minutes of play, BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's 周威翔 made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gonçalo de Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! 周威翔 did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-2 to the left of a surprised Gonçalo de Medeiros 38 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute Roneixon Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuo Fei Kun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonçalo de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 周威翔 in the 44th minute of play. Zhuo Fei Kun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roneixon Siqueira in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Espigão Steamrollers made a substitution. Walmyr Meira replaced 柳远桑. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 周威翔 made a kick off. BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's Noam Chomsky quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 88 minutes into the match, Yuri Paranaense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zhuo Fei Kun. BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yuri Paranaense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. Gonçalo de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Livio Prieto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Vilmar Heidemann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-4. Neither BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF or Espigão Steamrollers succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Espigão Steamrollers's Yuri Paranaense that got to make the kick off. Vilmar Heidemann in the 102ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gonçalo de Medeiros, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 108 minutes, Vilmar Heidemann took a quick shot and it went in 5-4 without a chance for Gonçalo de Medeiros to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF had won after a very even match.
