Rubinho Zanette hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 25th minute of the game was made by Paulinho Batista with Egídio Domingues as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. SRP-Laguna's Anderson Laguna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save SRP-Laguna from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, Xu Le Shu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yusuf Muslera. JFSP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xu Le Shu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Xu Le Shu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yusuf Muslera having to make a save. With a little luck, SRP-Laguna's Anderson Laguna got control of the ball when Miroslaw Miazga tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Anderson Laguna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Cabral. JFSP's Yusuf Muslera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barbaros Seçkin in the 44th minute of play. With a little luck, SRP-Laguna's Anderson Laguna got control of the ball when Miroslaw Miazga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

JFSP's Daniel Dalberg was substituted for Rubinho Zanette. SRP-Laguna's Deivid de Sena was substituted for Rafael Furtado. 56 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslaw Miazga came free, but Anderson Laguna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Barbaros Seçkin took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Yusuf Muslera to make any attempt to save it. 85 minutes into the match, JFSP's goal looked a bit too open when Frasier Crane came free, but Yusuf Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frasier Crane in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yusuf Muslera saved JFSP from getting behind. Isaltino Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yusuf Muslera having to interfere. Anderson Laguna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslaw Miazga in the 90th minute of the match. After some careless play in the SRP-Laguna defense, Bernardo Cabral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anderson Laguna. The SRP-Laguna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anderson Laguna should have stopped the shot.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SRP-Laguna eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
