The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 7 minutes, Baladi Ribalta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LKS Do Bigosu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baladi Ribalta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Fabien Canu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, Lunar Park's goal looked a bit too open when Dieter Breves came free, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th match minute, LKS Do Bigosu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rostyslav Solodkyi to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Lunar Park's zone, Dieter Breves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cedric Van Langhendoncx came out of the goal and Dieter Breves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to LKS Do Bigosu getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Raphael Santalla hit a great ball. After 30 played minutes Lunar Park got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Hernando. The supporters of Lunar Park booed when LKS Do Bigosu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dieter Breves didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dieter Breves came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the LKS Do Bigosu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dieter Breves couldn't finish the play. After 45 played minutes LKS Do Bigosu got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Santalla. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dieter Breves made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Claude Ciron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunar Park's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claude Ciron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute Dieter Breves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yazid Larnicol in the 59th minute. LKS Do Bigosu's Fabian Tomaszewski was substituted for Baladi Ribalta. The throw-in from Esteban Alvarado in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by LKS Do Bigosu's Flavio Hurdinosa. 66 minutes into the game, Dieter Breves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cedric Van Langhendoncx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabien Canu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabien Canu got free with Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dieter Breves in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cedric Van Langhendoncx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute, Dieter Breves made a precise shot to the right of Cedric Van Langhendoncx. Lunar Park's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabien Canu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Hurdinosa made in the 82nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rostyslav Solodkyi. Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabien Canu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 84 minute of play. Cedric Van Langhendoncx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Zagrobelny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Lunar Park's Fabien Canu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to LKS Do Bigosu getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Waclaw Major hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Fabien Canu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov. The goal made the score 2-3.

The Lunar Park supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lunar Park would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
