Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Medárd Horváth in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Aguilar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ferdinand Zdraşcu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 22 minutes of play, Club Olimpia's Roque Gora made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gianluigi Orange was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 25th minute Medárd Horváth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Aguilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gianluigi Orange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Inestrosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Gianluigi Orange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Inestrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Olimpia's Alfredo Aguilar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Olimpia from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Allan Sandström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfredo Aguilar. That made the score 1-1 in the 32 minute of play. When Club Olimpia's Denis Inestrosa in 38 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Gianluigi Orange guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 38 minutes, Denis Inestrosa made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Coice de Mula's Gianluigi Orange tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Coice de Mula's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Gora came free, but Gianluigi Orange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Medárd Horváth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Aguilar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Medárd Horváth made a kick off. Alfredo Aguilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Medárd Horváth in the 52nd minute of play. Coice de Mula's Allan Sandström managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jack Hägglund in the 54 minute of the game. Club Olimpia's Alfredo Aguilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Sandström in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Club Olimpia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Kiempe to maneuver through the defense. When Medárd Horváth came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Coice de Mula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Medárd Horváth couldn't finish the play. Coice de Mula's Dennis Giusti was substituted for Carlos Duarte. 64 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's Pan Xi De sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gianluigi Orange narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfredo Aguilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Medárd Horváth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Giusti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfredo Aguilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Guerra in the 86th minute of play. Gianluigi Orange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Gora, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club Olimpia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
