The tension between the New Miran FC and the Minion Mim players grew even worse after the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Vandamme couldn't finish the play. If Álvaro Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charlie Vandamme might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mitch Lauwers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
