Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Cutberto in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ediberto Righi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ramiro Enrique fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Iztal having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Viviano during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leandro Viviano kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Espirillo FC defense, Ramiro Enrique kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Iztal. The Espirillo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Iztal should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Espirillo FC's Aaron Cutberto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ediberto Righi. That made the score 1-1 after 11 minutes of play. Ediberto Righi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Cutberto in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute José Luis Sánchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Fernandes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Ediberto Righi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ramiro Enrique recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Iztal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Cabrera in the 25th minute of the match. Jorge Iztal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Enrique's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Ediberto Righi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aaron Cutberto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 29 minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Espirillo FC's Saverio Cristos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Saverio Cristos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Espirillo FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Saverio Cristos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 31st minute, one of Espirillo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Espirillo FC. The referee gave lןןl EdF Garrafa Sanchez a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ramiro Enrique, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Espirillo FC's Jorge Iztal. 2-2. 40 minutes into the match, Joaquim Fernandes notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of lןןl EdF Garrafa Sanchez's Ediberto Righi. Ediberto Righi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Luis Sánchez made a kick off. Jorge Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Enrique, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jorge Iztal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Enrique in the 57th minute. With a little luck, Espirillo FC's Jorge Iztal got control of the ball when Alejandro Cabrera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Espirillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ediberto Righi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. lןןl EdF Garrafa Sanchez made a substitution. Nicolás Domingo replaced Guido Alvarenga. 78 minutes into the match, lןןl EdF Garrafa Sanchez's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Elia came free, but Ediberto Righi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Cristo Elia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ediberto Righi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Cutberto scored 4-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ediberto Righi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorge Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josemir Lujambio, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Freddy Lamberto hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, José Luis Sánchez fired a really elegant long shot, but Jorge Iztal threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post.
Espirillo FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
