MANCHESTER UNITED's Blasi Gabas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gearard 诸葛亮 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 37 minutes into the match, MANCHESTER UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Goren came free, but Anton Lalchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 53rd minute Denko Gervazov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gearard 诸葛亮 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
