The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Giovanny Van Wontergem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nelsinho Leite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, João Pirani put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Zacarias Transito. Zacarias Transito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aírton Sousa in the 16th minute of play. Nelsinho Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanny Van Wontergem, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 24th minute Seyhan Arısan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giovanny Van Wontergem took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelsinho Leite. Nelsinho Leite dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Vascogoianiense FC's Nelsinho Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanny Van Wontergem in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanny Van Wontergem in the 31st minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piotr Ptaszek hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Żuki Gnojarze's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Monteiro came free, but Zacarias Transito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanny Van Wontergem in the 36th minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nelsinho Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanny Van Wontergem in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Leite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giovanny Van Wontergem. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovanny Van Wontergem got free with Nelsinho Leite in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Giovanny Van Wontergem came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Żuki Gnojarze fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovanny Van Wontergem couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Zacarias Transito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aírton Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vascogoianiense FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Giovanny Van Wontergem was slow to take the kick. During this time Żuki Gnojarze's players had a chance to rest. Giovanny Van Wontergem took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelsinho Leite. After 81 minutes Vascogoianiense FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Giovanny Van Wontergem who took care of the corner kick. Sidnei Leão thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Nelsinho Leite, a very annoying self made goal in the 81st minute which led to 5-1. 87 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Seyhan Arısan came free, but Nelsinho Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelsinho Leite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giovanny Van Wontergem's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd match minute, Vascogoianiense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Neto to maneuver through the defense. Nelsinho Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanny Van Wontergem in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Żuki Gnojarze had won after a very even match.
