Comunardo Guerrini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 8 played minutes Sinsin got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Ravoet. Herman Dresselbjerg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerónimo Pais hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Dragonf⮊rcE's Comunardo Guerrini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Dragonf⮊rcE from getting a goal against them. Dragonf⮊rcE's attentive Afonso Quadros managed to snatch the ball when Yoachim Dekkers made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. The supporters of Dragonf⮊rcE booed when Sinsin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yoachim Dekkers didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Sinsin's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Houghton came free, but Bavo Van Eeckhout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bavo Van Eeckhout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Houghton in the 30th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Emanuel Vanooteghem put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Comunardo Guerrini. After 37 minutes, Dimitri Van Gestel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sinsin and the Dragonf⮊rcE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dimitri Van Gestel hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 42 minutes in the game Afonso Quadros did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Pedro Pauleta. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Emanuel Vanooteghem made the kick off in the second half. If Emanuel Vanooteghem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Vanooteghem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Comunardo Guerrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comunardo Guerrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Vanooteghem in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Dragonf⮊rcE's Barry Houghton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bavo Van Eeckhout narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dragonf⮊rcE made a substitution. Ludo Tobbackers replaced Pedro Pauleta. Barry Houghton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Bavo Van Eeckhout made a huge save. In the 71st minute Sinsin were awarded a corner. Dominick Weijnandts went to the cornerflag to take it. Comunardo Guerrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitri Van Gestel, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Comunardo Guerrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Vanooteghem in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Dragonf⮊rcE getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Herman Dresselbjerg hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Herman Dresselbjerg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sinsin's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dominick Weijnandts in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Sinsin's Dimitri Van Gestel got a free kick in the 87th minute. With a little luck, Sinsin's Bavo Van Eeckhout got control of the ball when Karin Benzema tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jerónimo Pais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimitri Van Gestel was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Dragonf⮊rcE booed when Sinsin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitri Van Gestel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bavo Van Eeckhout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karin Benzema, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Sinsin's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
