Vikings's Arsenio Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 郭然飞 in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Newcastle United F.C. booed when Vikings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Marin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When 邱永亦 fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newcastle United F.C.'s protests and gave 邱永亦 a yellow card for diving instead. Arsenio Ongile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle United F.C.. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lázaro Marin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by 郭然飞 in the 53rd minute of play forced Vikings's goalkeeper Arsenio Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, 郭然飞 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newcastle United F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but 郭然飞 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 郭然飞 in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arsenio Ongile prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 80 played minutes Newcastle United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by 邱永亦. 唐珂辰 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 严正兴 hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 周挺益 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 郭然飞 succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. Newcastle United F.C.'s 郭然飞 got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
