After taking down the ball on Vila Industrial FC's corner Jacinto Ramos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emil Duset quite easily take care of the ball. Emil Duset made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Leite in the 16th minute. Enrique Leite blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Duset having to make a save. Enrique Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Emil Duset made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Salah in the 21st minute of play forced Vila Industrial FC's goalkeeper César Boldrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Emil Duset had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Diniz. When Enrique Leite came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Vila Industrial FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Leite couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohamed Salah made a kick off. If Enrique Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emil Duset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Leite in the 53rd minute of the match. César Boldrini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mohamed Salah's shot from short distance in the 57th minute.
