Giovanni Pena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 何威庭 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Pena having to interfere. Vinícius Junior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danilo Bittencourt got free with Adrian Chioreanu in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 36 minutes AC米兰's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chico Mendonça who took care of the corner kick. 43 minutes into the match, AC米兰's goalkeeper Adrian Chioreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafinha Velasco. A collision led to Júbilo Iwata getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Juvenal Mendonça hit a great ball. The Júbilo Iwata players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AC米兰 were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcel Lira to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes AC米兰 got a freekick which was hit by 何威庭. 54 minutes into the match, AC米兰's goal looked a bit too open when Rafinha Velasco came free, but Adrian Chioreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinícius Junior got free with Giovanni Pena in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Júbilo Iwata's Giovanni Pena got control of the ball when 何威庭 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 何威庭 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Giovanni Pena made a huge save. In the 78th minute, Rafinha Velasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Chioreanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 82nd match minute, AC米兰 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 俞翀岚 to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, 何威庭 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giovanni Pena. Júbilo Iwata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 何威庭 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. AC米兰's 何威庭 got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Júbilo Iwata lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
