The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alonzo Firme made in the 2nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Silverio Jacob. Hannes Kuusk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Valentin Licerio made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, Bülent Ruge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dráuzio Mattos. Gone With the Win's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bülent Ruge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a little luck, Franja Dorada's Valentin Licerio got control of the ball when Vlastimir Jovanović tried to sneak it across the goal line. Franja Dorada's Valentin Licerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Kuusk in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Franja Dorada booed when Gone With the Win was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Inautzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Licerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vlastimir Jovanović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dráuzio Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Jacob, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th match minute, Franja Dorada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Timo to maneuver through the defense. Dráuzio Mattos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silverio Jacob went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Kuusk in the 35th minute of play forced Franja Dorada's goalkeeper Valentin Licerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Hannes Kuusk took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Valentin Licerio to make any attempt to save it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silverio Jacob to strike the kick off in the second half. The score was now 2-3. In the 59th minute of the game Alonzo Firme made a throw-in which Bülent Ruge played forward. Gone With the Win's Daud Kunaefi was substituted for Vlastimir Jovanović. Valentin Licerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 苞 in the 70th minute of the match. Angel Bessone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Dráuzio Mattos made a huge save. After 83 minutes of play, Gone With the Win's 苞 made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Licerio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, Hannes Kuusk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Licerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-4. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Gone With the Win were victorious despite being under pressure from Franja Dorada for much of the match.
