The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Predador Brasiliense MZBR's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Vettori came free, but Octavian Jähnigen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute of the match Cesate got a corner. Predador Brasiliense MZBR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Angelo Vettori ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 4th match minute, Cesate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Giannantonio to maneuver through the defense. Cris Gol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Radowit Ptaszek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavian Jähnigen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Mazzone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radowit Ptaszek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cris Gol in the 14th minute of play. Cris Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 20 minutes into the match, Cesate's goalkeeper Radowit Ptaszek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cris Gol. Radowit Ptaszek made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Cris Gol sent off a good shot on target. Cris Gol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radowit Ptaszek having to make a save. In the 29th minute Cris Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Ptaszek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Angelo Vettori cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Octavian Jähnigen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cris Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radowit Ptaszek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cris Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. Cesate's Radowit Ptaszek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Cesate from getting a goal against them. Cris Gol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radowit Ptaszek having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves Cris Gol could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Radowit Ptaszek however easily saved by the left post. Radowit Ptaszek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cris Gol's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After the first half Cesate were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 50 played minutes Predador Brasiliense MZBR got a freekick which was hit by Ali Kürşat Aurelio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cris Gol in the 52nd minute of play forced Cesate's goalkeeper Radowit Ptaszek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Vettori could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Octavian Jähnigen made a huge save. Predador Brasiliense MZBR made a substitution. António Sobral replaced Cris Gol. Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Willem-Jan Van Hinnendael was substituted for Raúl Palomar. Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Jânio Donatello was substituted for Birger Ståhlman. After 63 minutes Predador Brasiliense MZBR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angelo Vettori who took care of the corner kick. Cesate's Kay Stormlund was substituted for Enzo Giannantonio. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Predador Brasiliense MZBR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Angelo Vettori was slow to take the kick. During this time Cesate's players had a chance to rest. Angelo Vettori made a great header on Cesate's corner, it was just that Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Octavian Jähnigen managed to reach the ball for a save. Radowit Ptaszek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lam Baril, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Radowit Ptaszek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Sobral in the 86th minute of the match. Octavian Jähnigen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Vettori in the 95th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Ali Kürşat Aurelio got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Cesate players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
