Deilmison van Basten started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Giovana F C's goal looked a bit too open when Deilmison van Basten came free, but Gian Weidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute of the match ATHLETICO PRaiano got a corner. Giovana F C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Unax Mudarra ran over to the corner to take the kick. Deilmison van Basten took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gian Weidt. Gian Weidt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gian Weidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute Giovana F C were awarded a corner. Iustin Teodor went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 18th minute Deilmison van Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gian Weidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save ATHLETICO PRaiano from getting a goal against them. Rodriguinho Sousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeu Xavier in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Deilmison van Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gian Weidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodriguinho Sousa made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Tadeu Xavier sent off a good shot on target. Iustin Teodor didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 34th minute. Giovana F C's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Deilmison van Basten managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATHLETICO PRaiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Deilmison van Basten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gian Weidt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natanael Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 40 minutes, Eusébio Angelsø managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Giovana F C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Angelsø was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deilmison van Basten took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gian Weidt. Gian Weidt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half ATHLETICO PRaiano were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natanael Ceresso to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Angelsø in the 53rd minute of play forced ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusébio Angelsø in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho Sousa saved ATHLETICO PRaiano from getting behind. Deilmison van Basten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gian Weidt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. ATHLETICO PRaiano made a substitution. Heitor Maldini replaced Betão Marquez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael Ceresso in the 70th minute of play forced ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gian Weidt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeu Xavier in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho Sousa saved ATHLETICO PRaiano from getting behind. After a rather tough play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Simão do Vale got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Iustin Teodor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodriguinho Sousa skillfully saved the ball. Rodriguinho Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gylippus Panayiotopoulos in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Deilmison van Basten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Gian Weidt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 88 minutes into the match, Giovana F C's goal looked a bit too open when Deilmison van Basten came free, but Gian Weidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Giovana F C's Eusébio Angelsø in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalie prevented a goal.

The Giovana F C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ATHLETICO PRaiano's performance. The match ended with a win for ATHLETICO PRaiano.
