When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Ronaldo Cristi put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nicasio Abad. In the 20th minute Peter Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Blomkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute of the match Equipo got a corner. Nicasio Abad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Cai Wei Xi made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Equipo booed when Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kosmas Banasopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Dalmacio Bastia in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Ahmet Demircioğlu. Ismael Furman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cai Wei Xi in the 56th minute. After 57 minutes Equipo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kosmas Banasopoulos who took care of the corner kick. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Kosmas Banasopoulos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Furman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ismael Furman made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Cai Wei Xi sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cai Wei Xi got free with Ismael Furman in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the match, Darío Benedetto notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad. Nicasio Abad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Equipo's Harun Elçin was substituted for Darío Benedetto. Equipo's Pietro Salles was substituted for Ronaldo Cristi. Ismael Furman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cai Wei Xi in the 85th minute. Nicasio Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pietro Salles in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ defense, Pietro Salles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicasio Abad. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicasio Abad should have stopped the shot.
