In the 4th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Toscano to maneuver through the defense. João Carlos Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robben Spoelberchs in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jânio Sanches in the 23rd minute of play forced Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper João Carlos Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Toscano came free, but João Carlos Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gernando Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Luís Prestes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's João Carlos Lucas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Carlos-Henrique Casemiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Velloso hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Jânio Sanches made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Robben Spoelberchs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Carlos-Henrique Casemiro got a free kick in the 57th minute. Castanheiro SC made a substitution. Alfredo Stefano replaced Jânio Sanches. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gustavo Scarpa got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the game, Elói Maranhense threw the ball into play from the sideline. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Carlos-Henrique Casemiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 66th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gabriel Recife was substituted for Gernando Azevedo. Elói Maranhense hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Alfredo Stefano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Carlos Lucas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Fu Sheng Guo was substituted for Gustavo Scarpa. If Robben Spoelberchs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper João Carlos Lucas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Toscano. In the 90th minute Gabriel Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gabriel Recife in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Castanheiro SC's goalie prevented a goal.
