The referee ignored SC Agualva's protests and gave Martinho Albuquerque a yellow card for diving instead. Martinho Albuquerque hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Agualva's goalkeeper António Flores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Paolo Frasquito notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of SC Agualva's António Flores. The SC Agualva fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when SC Agualva's Octávio Gago looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. SC Agualva's Nivaldo Lameiras got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. António Flores was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Celedonio Barto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-6 in the 80 minute of play. Rafael Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Iker Quinten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octávio Gago in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iker Quinten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, bayern munich's Ignacio Orlan got a free kick in the 89th minute. Iker Quinten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Carneiro in the 90th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, bayern munich's António Flores threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Celedonio Barto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The bayern munich supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing bayern munich would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
