Patagonia defense, Petter Skarkman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Schmeichel. The A.C. Patagonia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Schmeichel should have stopped the shot. Peter Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Skarkman in the 28th minute of the match. Bolo Skjold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Wos, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Skarkman came free, but Peter Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th play minute Dariusz Wos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bolo Skjold. 1-1. Patagonia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for A.C. Patagonia. In the 97th minute Gustav Siöman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolo Skjold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
