The coaching staff of PREZULO FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Franz Beckenbauer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Isaac Ferreira, was totally fooled by Lipochσrion FC's Emrah Alatay, who 14 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a little luck, PREZULO FC's Isaac Ferreira got control of the ball when Fotis Melas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Lipochσrion FC defense, Turgut Soyuer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Panagiotis Kissas. The Lipochσrion FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Panagiotis Kissas should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Turgut Soyuer in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Panagiotis Kissas saved Lipochσrion FC from getting behind. Isaac Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Turgut Soyuer was the one to do the kick off. Ana Cristina kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd match minute, PREZULO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Perez to maneuver through the defense. PREZULO FC made a substitution. Betão de Brito replaced Rob Lute. PREZULO FC's Mari Balotelli was substituted for Turgut Soyuer. Celsinho Perez hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The PREZULO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. In the 91st minute Mari Balotelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panagiotis Kissas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mari Balotelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Panagiotis Kissas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute of the match PREZULO FC got a corner. Lipochσrion FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ferhat Sertuğ ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Lipochσrion FC's goalie and right to Celsinho Perez. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Lipochσrion FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
