Juan Arce came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcelona de América's Zayvion Ispuzua. But to his dismay, Zayvion Ispuzua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gilmar Quadros made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Carmelo Corderun sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute, Perlaza Lena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Arce came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcelona de América's Zayvion Ispuzua. But to his dismay, Zayvion Ispuzua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 27th match minute, Barcelona de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calisto Cean to maneuver through the defense. Gilmar Quadros made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Leonides Hats sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, Zayvion Ispuzua made a precise shot to the right of Juan Arce. Mezh Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. A sloppy throw-in by Dalmacio Nuno in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Barcelona de América's Calisto Cean. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Barcelona de América made a substitution. Caetano Levandowsky replaced Zayvion Ispuzua. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caetano Levandowsky was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Barcelona de América's Caetano Levandowsky sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Arce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute Félix Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gaston Cedro fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mezh Team's protests and gave Gaston Cedro a yellow card for diving instead. Gaston Cedro hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Caetano Levandowsky got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barcelona de América's Robin Puttemans was substituted for Thomas Ravousis. Caetano Levandowsky's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Arce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mezh Team's goalkeeper Juan Arce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Caetano Levandowsky reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juan Arce. The goal made the score 0-5. Mezh Team's Juan Arce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Mezh Team from getting a goal against them. Juan Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Levandowsky in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Leonides Hats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caetano Levandowsky got free with Juan Arce in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 88 minutes, Caetano Levandowsky managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcelona de América's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caetano Levandowsky was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mezh Team's Juan Arce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Mezh Team from getting a goal against them. Caetano Levandowsky could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Juan Arce made a huge save. If Caetano Levandowsky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mezh Team's Juan Arce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Mezh Team from getting a goal against them. The Barcelona de América supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barcelona de América would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
