After 29 minutes of play, Protegéerna's Christer Nyberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. San Felice a Ema U.L.'s Patrick Donnellson got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Protegéerna got a freekick which was hit by Petter Skarkman. In the 43rd minute Guido Python shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Antognoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Antognoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Python in the 45th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Guido Python took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Bruno Antognoni to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 59th minute Christer Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Antognoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Guido Python sped through San Felice a Ema U.L.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Antognoni. After 63 minutes of play, San Felice a Ema U.L.'s Patrick Donnellson made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
