Pedro Luiz Cordeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Rubinho Lago made a huge save. If Barnaba Kolba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute Barnaba Kolba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Tomb Raider FC's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Kolba came free, but João Pedro Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rubinho Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão de Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Luiz Cordeiro was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Fred Monteiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which João Pedro Meirelles however easily saved by the left post. João Pedro Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaba Kolba in the 54th minute of the match. João Pedro Meirelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnaba Kolba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Callegari were awarded a corner. Barnaba Kolba went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Callegari's corner Barnaba Kolba fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and João Pedro Meirelles quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz Cordeiro in the 63rd minute of play forced Callegari's goalkeeper Rubinho Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Taco Van Der Hoorn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute.
