Dagoberto Dracena might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juarês Fantini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dagoberto Dracena ran back to his position shaking his head. The Best Ones's Juarês Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Dracena in the 16th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Quintal to make the kick off. After taking down the ball on The Best Ones's corner Nelson Correia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tiaguinho Correia quite easily take care of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Nelson Correia notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Trindade Atlético Club's Tiaguinho Correia. Tiaguinho Correia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Róbson Couto in the 105th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juarês Fantini saved The Best Ones from getting behind. After 105th play minutes Róbson Couto shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Juarês Fantini and just under the crossbar into goal. Trindade Atlético Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
