The audience was convinced that Clas Nørstrup's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mao Zhen Hong was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Söderhall's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vidar Gummeson in the 12th minute. A nice corner shot did that Vidar Gummeson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mao Zhen Hong quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Fabrício Lustosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Clas Nørstrup managed to get in a good position for a shot. Söderhall's supporters rose to their feet, but Clas Nørstrup was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mao Zhen Hong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mao Zhen Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clas Nørstrup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svante Stenqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Lustosa in the 28th minute of the match. Alexandre Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Mao Zhen Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Söderhall's Ulf Nyman got a free kick in the 30th minute. Söderhall's Svante Stenqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Söderhall from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute Academia Monte Gordo were awarded a corner. Adérito Abreu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Adérito Abreu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Söderhall's Svante Stenqvist did a great save. 38 minutes into the match, Söderhall's goalkeeper Svante Stenqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adérito Abreu. Svante Stenqvist made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Pascual Mouricio sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zygmunt Wrzosek in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mao Zhen Hong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Academia Monte Gordo's Fryderyk Grucza in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Söderhall's goalie prevented a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fryderyk Grucza made a kick off. Söderhall's Svante Stenqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fryderyk Grucza in the 53rd minute of play. If Pascual Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zygmunt Wrzosek got free with Mao Zhen Hong in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zygmunt Wrzosek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Mao Zhen Hong made a huge save. Academia Monte Gordo's Adélio Infante was substituted for Fryderyk Grucza. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Söderhall's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adérito Abreu was slow to take the kick. During this time Academia Monte Gordo's players had a chance to rest. Academia Monte Gordo's Adérito Abreu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Svante Stenqvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Simon Matsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clas Nørstrup kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Söderhall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qi Yang Guang to maneuver through the defense. Svante Stenqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adélio Infante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zygmunt Wrzosek. Svante Stenqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adélio Infante in the 82nd minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
